So , it’s been a while , what has the samosa world been working on while I was away.

A friend recommended this place and I thought it worth a look. A lovely little bakery / sweet centre tucked away in a quiet part of town.

The samosas looked exactly how I like them , crispy pastry (and not filo). They were a nice size too - though they would have been better a little plumper.

They were sold cold so we warmed them a little in a dry frying pan. This worked well given a hot and crisp finish.

The contents were a touch dry and not much of a mix of veg. Mostly potato. They were nicely spiced though and very tasty. Not being plump was evident on the tasting too , they hadn’t been filled right to the edge so you found yourself chewing dry pastry too often. The pastry was excellent though.

They came with a tasty minty / yogurt sauce , though not enough of it. Please stop with the multiple plastic containers too, wasting a lot of plastic is a frequent problem with my research.

We had a few veg pakoras which were nice (again a bit potato focussed) and a veg paratha which was a little greasy but tasty.

This place had nice smiley staff and it’s worth a visit of close by , it is take away only but often open into the evening
A 6.5 for the samosas.
