Nafees, Saville Town, Dewsbury

 So, went on a Samosa road trip one evening with the kids and team Bigtop. Just a drive around my old home town to see what we could find. We had a couple of places in mind, but also just called in at places that looked to have potential. 

We struck lucky on our first hit. 

They looked good in the cabinet, so we ordered one each. 

Oh they were belters. 

Lovely pastry despite being cold. Well filled (though not all were filled right to the edges). A good level of spice, not hot but nicely flavoured and warm. A great texture, soft without being mushy and obvious different vegetables inside. Perfectly cooked. 

A very good 8.0

Had these been hot and fresh, with a little sauce, they would definitely been an 8.5 or even a 9.0  - we will return for these bad boys - they even had "cook at home" (big) boxes which we ignored this time but likely won't next time.
